Chapter 1.1.4 C# – Continuation Tasks

Continuation tasks can run when an existing task is running. If it shows a result it can be used as in input to the continuation task. They can be used to create a pipeline of operations, with each starting as the other one ends

Task task = Task.Run(() => HelloTask())
task.ContinueWith( (prevTAsk) => WorldTask());

Child Tasks

Child tasks can run independently of the parent Task in which they were created
